It’s time for the second edition of the Pan Continental Curling Championships, scheduled at the Kelowna Curling Club in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, from Sunday, 29 October to Saturday, 4 November 2023.
The first edition was held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and saw Canadian men and Japanese women winning the inaugural titles.
After hosting the World Women’s in 1986, the World Juniors in 2002, and the World Mixed in 2018, it’s the third time Kelowna will host a World Curling event.

Where I can Watch Pan Continental Curling 2023 in Canada?
In Canada, TSN will cover every game of Team Canada. You can watch the Pan Continental Curling through TSN 1, TSN 2, TSN 3, TSN 4, TSN 5 respectively (if you had a cable connection). However, you can watch live stream on TSN+ (subscription required: monthly CAD $8.00 and Yearly $80.00). But we recommended try Curling World, because of TSN+ will not broadcast the Pan Continental Curling, we couldn’t find any curling games on their next 1-week broadcast schedule.

2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships: Preview
Like the first edition, this year’s event will feature an A and B division, providing the participating sides a direct route to the World Curling Championships, similar to the European Curling Championships format.
The B division championships will take place at the same venue and are open for any other member association from the Americas and Pacific-Asia zonal regions to participate.
Team Brad Gushue and Team Kerri Einarson will wear the Maple Leaf at the event. Both teams won significantly last season at the inaugural Pan Continental Curling Championships.
Team Gushue won Canada a historic gold medal, while Team Einarson secured the bronze medal, securing Canada’s spot at the World Women’s event.

Both teams didn’t stop there and won their respective Canadian championships. They went on to represent the Country at the 2023 world championships, where Team Gushue clinched silver in front of a home-nation crowd in Ottawa. Team Einarson won bronze overseas in Sandviken, Sweden, at the world women’s event.
Nations from the Americas, Pacific regions, and Asia will compete for the berths at the 2024 World Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships. The top five finishers will qualify, except for countries hosting a world championship, as their berths have already been secured.
Creating the Continental Curling Championships has allowed more nations to compete internationally. That said, Guyana men’s team and Mexico’s women’s team will be in action in the A Division after having successful campaigns at the inaugural championships last year.
Guyana defied all the odds and claimed the men’s B Division title. The team also finished fourth in the round-robin format before upsetting two top seeds, Hong Kong and India, on their route to promotion.
They return to the event without vice-skip Jason Perreira, who retired, but Baul Persaud and Goberdhan are back along with newcomer Darryl Narain.
Talking about Mexico, their women’s team missed promotion to the women’s A-Division last year after losing against Chinese Taipei by a steal in an extra end. Yet, they moved up a few weeks ago after Kazakhstan withdrew from the competition.
They return to the championship with the same line-up of Camarena, Estefana Quintero, Veronica Huerta, and Karla Martinez, consolidated by Canadian coach Doug Dalziel.
