Continue readingA couple of Australia’s most exciting young boxers will grace the ring in Sydney when Nikita Tszyu (6-0) and Liam Wilson (11-2) co-headline a pay-per-view event.
The hard-punching duo will take on Jack Brubaker (17-4-2) and Carlos Alanis (12-0) respectively.
Can the youngest member of the Tszyu family stop the charismatic Brubaker quicker than the four rounds it took his brother, or will the Cronulla Cowboy square the ledger against the famous surname?
Also in action, Wilson will be hoping to make a statement in his first outing since a heart-breaking world title defeat to Emanuel Navarrete.
The powerful Queenslander will be looking to put himself right back in the world title picture against an unbeaten Argentine opponent.

On Saturday, Anthony Joshua is set to face Robert Helenius due to a last-minute change in plans. The anticipated rematch between Joshua and his original opponent, Dillian Whyte, was called off after Whyte tested positive for a prohibited substance in a recent drug test. The much-anticipated Joshua vs. Whyte 2 would have marked a significant eight-year rematch, as Joshua aimed to avenge his earlier amateur loss to Whyte by knocking him out in 2015. However, this exciting rematch was canceled as a result of Whyte’s failed drug test. Despite the initial uncertainty surrounding Joshua’s participation on Saturday, his promoter Eddie Hearn hinted at a forthcoming announcement. It was revealed that Robert Helenius will step in to replace Whyte for the bout, which is scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena in London.
But first AJ faces Swedish-born Finn Helenius on Saturday at the O2 Arena on just seven days notice.
Joshua was scheduled to rematch Dillian Whyte until his old rival was withdrawn amid a failed drug test.
Promoter Eddie Hearn was left scrambling to find a substitute to ensure the whole show did not get KO’d.
And they landed on Helenius, who boxed just last weekend in a 15th-century three-tower CASTLE located in Savonlinna.
Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 12, 2023. The main card is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET with the main event ringwalks expected to take place at 5 p.m. ET.
Tickets to watch this fight at the O2 Arena in London, England are available here.
Anthony Joshua vs. Robert Helenius will air on DAZN. Initially, when Jermaine Franklin was still Joshua’s opponent, this event was offered as a PPV product on DAZN. However, the event is now scheduled to air on regular DAZN, requiring only a DAZN subscription to view.
The fight costs $59.99 on both DAZN PPV and ESPN+ PPV. To make that purchase you would need to have a subscription to one of those services. DAZN costs $19.99 a month on a 12-month contract or $24.99 month-to-month.
Providing all is well with the world, this fight is over before it even begins. Joshua is younger, fresher, quicker, stronger, and he’s a far better fighter.
Helenius has a respectable record of 32-4 (21 KOs), but each time he’s stepped up in class, he’s been found wanting, and three of his four losses were by knockout. Johann Duhaupas stopped him in six, Erkan Teper took him out in eight, and Deontay Wilder popped his balloon in one.
It’s not a case of if Joshua wins, but when.
As a barometer for how AJ may get the job done here, it’s probably best to look at the Wilder fight. While Joshua doesn’t punch as hard as “The Bronze Bomber”, he still has 22 knockouts in 25 wins and can crack with both hands.
Helenius had a full training camp for Wilder, whereas the 39-year-old only has days to prepare for this one. Joshua has been cautious of late, but he’ll be looking to get things over quickly and put this whole debacle behind him.
Expect AJ to let go with some big bombs and test the late replacement’s chin and ambition very early. A fun bet would be a second-round finish, which is good value right now.
The New England Patriots will begin their 2023 season when they host the Houston Texans in the preseason opener. It marks just the second time that the two teams have met in a preseason game. The Patriots held joint practice sessions with Houston at their West Virginia training camp site prior to a 27-23 loss at Houston on Aug. 19, 2017.
In the regular season, Houston is one of two teams that the Patriots are undefeated against in home regular season games. The Patriots are 5-0 against the Texans at home. The Patriots are also 5-0 at home against Jacksonville.

While Stroud has shown flashes of brilliance during his time in training camp, he might face a different challenge playing in an NFL preseason game. Mac Jones, on the other hand, hasn’t been convincing as the Patriots’ long-term starter.
Expect this game to be a low scoring one, with New England getting the win over the Texans.
TELEVISION: This week’s game will be broadcast by the Patriots Preseason Television Network and can be seen in every New England state, as well as Alaska and Hawaii. The preseason network’s flagship station is WBZ-TV CBS in Boston. Bob Socci provides the play-by-play and is joined by former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak in the broadcast booth and studio analysis by senior editor Paul Perillo. WBZ’s Steve Burton will provide sideline analysis. Devin and Jason McCourty will be featured in “The McCourty TwinCast” to complement the broadcast. The TwinCast will stream on Patriots.com and WBZ.com for this week’s game.

Jake Paul is desperate to get back to winning ways. While he entered 2023 with six wins out of six fights, the Problem Child lost a split decision to Tommy Fury (the younger brother of WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson) in his last fight in January, which many called a lot wider than the judges. Can Paul begin rebuilding his reputation as one boxing’s finest novices against Nate Diaz this weekend?
It’s hard to know what to make of Nate Diaz in a boxing contest. Although the 38-year-old never won a UFC world title, he was one of MMA’s biggest stars for years, not least because of a stunning upset of Conor McGregor at UFC 196. Known for his pre-fight mind games, he skipped a public workout this week in favor of a social media Q&A with fans. How he gets on in a boxing ring, where he can use none of his MMA arsenal, is anyone’s guess.
The chief support sees undisputed world featherweight champion Amanda Serrano, managed by main event contender Paul himself, take on Heather Hardy for all her belts.
In terms of odds, DraftKings puts Jake Paul (-425) as the strong favorite with Nate Diaz (+310) as the underdog. Serrano (-2000) is a much clearer favorite, with Hardy (+1000) as a massive underdog.

After less than a week when both teams met at MCG, All Blacks are set to host Wallabies in the second series game at Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, the only covered venue in New Zealand.
All Blacks vs. Australia is a familiar fixture, and as expected, Wallabies stand nowhere against All Blacks in 176 head-to-head games as the All Blacks are leading with 123-45 (Draws 8).
Talking about All Blacks first, they’re pretty confident of registering another win at home after securing a win at MCG a few days ago, their sixth consecutive win against them. Moreover, coming to this game, New Zealand is on ten games winning streak and would like to continue their impressive record.
As New Zealand’s 33-men squad for Rugby World Cup is scheduled to announce on Monday evening, Ian Foster is looking to assess all available options in the final Test before heading off to France for the Rugby World Cup.
“It is our last chance to play in front of our fans, and, even with some changes, it is a big opportunity for us to take another step forward as a team. We can’t wait.”
That said, New Zealand coach Ian Foster has retained two players from the previous game’s starting XI and has also named three debutants; Shaun Stevenson starts on the wing, Samipeni Finau is in the back row, while Dallas McLeod is on the bench.
Moreover, captain Sam Cane is also back after missing last week due to a neck injury. That said, a much-changed side is expected to take the field against Wallabies; the result will likely go in All Blacks’ favor.
Tamaiti Williams – Samisoni Taukei’aho – Nepo Laulala – Brodie Retallick – Samuel Whitelock – Samipeni Finau – Sam Cane – Ardie Savea – Finlay Christie – Damian McKenzie – Leicester Fainga’anuku – Anton Lienert-Brown – Braydon Ennor – Shaun Stevenson – Will Jordan
Dane Coles – Ofa Tu’ungafasi – Fletcher Newell – Tupou Vaa’i – Luke Jacobson – Aaron Smith – Richie Mo’unga – Dallas McLeod
Australia:
On the other hand, Wallabies started well against All Blacks in their last game before losing control. However, another opportunity is knocking at the door for them to improve their record against All Blacks, a team they’ve lost the last six h2h games.
As the Wallabies have lost all three Tests (against New Zealand, Argentina, and South Africa) since Eddie Jones took over the charge, and with Rugby World Cup to start soon, where they’re scheduled to face France on August 28 in Paris in mega event game, consistent poor results have increased pressure on both coach and the players.
However, it should be noted that Jones was the last Australian coach to win on All Blacks’ soil (a 23-15 win in 2001), and the same is expected from him once again to end a 22-year, 28-match winless run in New Zealand.
Unlike their opponent, the Australian side will play without significant changes and would like to start their near era under Tate McDermott with a win; who is set to become the 86th captain of the Wallabies by replacing Allan Alaalatoa, who ruptured his Achilles last weekend and will miss the upcoming mega event.
Moreover, the Australian team will also be without the services of Taniela Tupou this weekend after he suffered a rib injury last weekend. With his absence, Pone Fa’amausili will most likely get his first start at tighthead in his fifth test, while Zane Nonggorr will also make his second test appearance from the bench.
Angus Bell – David Porecki – Pone Fa’amausili – Nick Frost – Richie Arnold – Tom Hooper – Fraser McReight – Rob Valetini – Tate McDermott – Carter Gordon – Marika Koroibete – Samu Kerevi – Jordan Petaia – Mark Nawaqanitawase – Andrew Kellaway
Jordan Uelese – James Slipper – Zane Nonggorr – Will Skelton – Rob Leota – Nic White – Quade Cooper – Izaia Perese

Watching soccer in the US is not always as easy as it should be. Between blackout laws restricting the airing of certain matches and other leagues/tournaments not having a broadcast home, it can be surprisingly difficult to follow along with a high-quality stream.
It’s important to stay connected and secure when watching soccer or any other sport. Luckily, with the right VPN service, you can stream your favorite sports without worrying about data security and geo-restrictions.
Whether you’re looking to watch the Premier League in HD or just want to access a local sports channel, we’ve put together a list of the best VPN services that can help you enjoy the game without any worries.
Read on to discover the best VPN providers for watching soccer and sports in the US. We’ll also answer some of the most commonly asked questions, ensuring you make the best choice possible when choosing the VPN service that’s right for you.
A VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a type of technology that helps to create a secure and encrypted connection between your device and another network.
This is done by routing your internet traffic through an external server, which makes it appear as if you are accessing the internet from a different location.
With a VPN service, you can access restricted websites, bypass geo-restrictions, and protect your data from hackers.
Using a VPN service for sports streaming has several advantages. Firstly, it allows you to access content that may otherwise be unavailable due to geographic restrictions.
Secondly, it provides a secure connection so you can stream your favorite sports without worrying about data security and privacy.
Finally, the cost of using a VPN can be much cheaper than buying a subscription to various sports streaming services.
In order to avoid any dreaded lag, the speed of your VPN is vital when streaming any sport. You need a fast and reliable connection to have the best experience.
The VPN service you choose should have strong security protocols in place to ensure your data remains secure.
It is important to choose a VPN service with servers located in different countries as this will give you more options for accessing content that may be geo-restricted. This is especially useful for finding matches for smaller teams and tournaments.
A quality customer support team can be invaluable if you run into any technical problems when streaming a match.
Many of the best VPN services offer different plans at different price points. Be sure to pick one that fits your budget and offers the features you need.
Check to make sure your chosen VPN service is compatible with the device you plan to stream on, whether it be on mobile or desktop.
Now that you know the benefits of using a VPN service for sports streaming, let’s take a look at how to choose the best VPN for soccer and sports.
The first step is to make sure that the VPN provider has a good number of servers that are located in the locations you want to access. This will ensure that you can access the sports streaming services of your choice without any issues.
Secondly, it is important to check the speeds and connection quality of the VPN. This is vital when streaming live sports as you want a fast and reliable connection without encountering any lag.
Finally, you should also check the security features of the VPN and make sure that it offers strong encryption and other safety features.
If you’re looking for streaming sources for soccer matches, you’re in luck. Numerous networks and streaming services have the rights to show these matches from all around the world.
Depending on the country in which the match you wish to watch is being played, the streaming service may vary.
For the best viewing experience, it’s always best to stick with the premium, paid streaming services.
NBA fans don’t need cable TV to watch game five of the NBA finals in real time. You can stream live games on a number of platforms, and if streaming isn’t available in your location, you can still catch the game using a VPN.
Be sure to sort out your game-viewing options before tonight’s game, June 12, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time, to see if the Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat and win the series.
The Nuggets are up (3-1) over the Heat (1-3) going into game five. If Denver wins tonight’s game, the Nuggets will be the 2023 NBA champions.
You can watch game five of the finals play out in real time on cable network channels, but you don’t need cable for live viewing. Here’s where you can watch the NBA playoffs and finals:
NBA blackouts are restrictions against playing certain NBA games live. These blackouts, which are location-specific, occur when a broadcaster has the exclusive rights to air a sporting event.
During the 2023 NBA playoffs, fans in the U.S. and Canada can expect national or even local blackouts, even if they have cable packages or paid streaming services. You can enter your ZIP code at NBA.com to find information about blackouts in your area.
Even if you have a subscription to NBA League Pass, including League Pass Premium or Team Pass, you might not be able to watch all live playoff games in your location. But you can still watch the NBA online around the globe with a VPN, even when there are blackouts. That’s because using VPN, or virtual private network, conceals your device location while you browse online.
Here’s how you can bypass the NBA League Pass blackouts with a VPN:
Choosing the right VPN is a task that shouldn’t be taken lightly since low-quality VPNs can jeopardize your device’s privacy and security. Here’s what to look for:
You may be able to stream NBA games for free online by using a streaming service that offers a free trial. FuboTV, for example, offers a free seven-day trial for subscriptions.
Note: While a VPN can get you access to blacked-out games, it can’t grant you free access to streaming services.
You might have a hard time streaming NBA TV games with a free VPN, since free VPNs often have limited data capacity. With TunnelBear’s free VPN, for example, you only get 2GB of data, but an hour of streaming on a platform like Disney+ could require up to 2.5 GB on a mobile device and 7.7 GB on a Smart TV or other TV-connected device.
You can visit our NBA schedule page for game dates, times, live updates on scores, stats and more.
Game five of the NBA finals takes place tonight, June 12, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
If the Nuggets lose tonight’s game, game six will be on Thursday, June 15, and game seven will be Sunday, June 18, if necessary.
For reference, here is a full breakdown of the final’s schedule.

One of the big moments of the college football preseason schedule is here as ESPN unveiled its Football Power Index preseason top 25 rankings with just about under a month to go before things officially kick off.
FPI always courts a little controversy among fans, and complaining about its analytic process and rankings is always good sport whenever the latest poll is released, and that’s certainly the case when looking at the 2023 rankings, too.
Here’s you look at the complete 2023 college football schedule for the Power Five.

All Blacks v Wallabies: 21 years have passed since Australia last held the Bledisloe Cup, but that’s little more than a footnote as they face New Zealand in the final round of the 2023 Rugby Championship. Of more pressing concern to the Wallabies is the all-too-realistic prospect of heading into the World Cup off the back of five successive defeats.
There initially wasn’t too much shame in getting mauled by South Africa in the first game of Eddie Jones’ second spell in charge, but that display hasn’t aged well at all with the subsequent humiliation at the hands of Argentina. And with two clashes with the All Blacks and one with France to come before Australia’s World Cup opener, fans are growing increasingly agitated.
The absence of Len Ikitau, who suffered a fractured scapula as he crossed the whitewash two weeks ago, won’t help matters, though Michael Hooper could return after a calf injury.
Conversely, New Zealand have TRC glory in their sights, with their 35–20 dismantling of the Proteas being hailed as one of the team’s best ever performances under Ian Foster. Shannon Frizell understandably took most of the plaudits after his Jonah Lomu-esque try, but Beauden Barrett, Will Jordan and Richie Mo’unga were just as instrumental as the All Blacks went kick-heavy against the kicking masters.

But if you try to watch your domestic coverage from anywhere outside your home country, you’ll soon find a problem – geo-blocking. That’s where the broadcaster prevents you from watching your usual feed from abroad. It’s a common problem for sports fans all over the world.
Using a VPN is as easy as one-two-three…
1. Download and install a VPN – as we say, our top choice is ExpressVPN.
2. Connect to the appropriate server location – open the VPN app, hit ‘choose location’ and select the appropriate location, eg: ‘Australia’ for 9Now.
3. Go to the broadcaster’s stream – head to your home broadcaster’s site or app and watch as if you were at home – 9Now for Aussies abroad.
